Whee... Didn't blog for a really long time... Cos just came back from YC... Was soo fun((: I'll post bout' it today I guess...(: Heehee((:
So I woke up bout' 6+ on monday morning to do last min preparation... then left bout 8.15 to BTC... Then had briefing at the chapel and stuff b4 leaving for desaru!! YAY(:
So we took 3 hours travelling... It's like after the custom then I fell asleep in the bus for maybe an hour(?)... Yea... So after we reached destination... Left the luggage near the entrance and went for lunch... The other bus came like only 1/2 hour later... Heard that the bus driver did not know his way to the resort... Poor ppl who were sitting there... -.-|||
So after lunch we checked in and stuff... Me,Kat,Marisa and Sis Aubrey got the family room... YAY:D Haha... At least it was better than the room that the Amandas had... LOL
Then had that boot camp thing... Was really fun... and the blue team(whcih was my team) won! Haha... And the funniest things was that we had only the poles without the cloth... so we had flags without the cloths... Whatever... But we still won... HEEHEE... BLUE TEAM ROCKS!
Then after that was the talent nite preparation... Rachel thought of the MOO MOO thing and the FHE thing... haha... It was really funny...Hmm... for the FHE... All I had to do was scream around and act like a kid... then for the MOO MOO thing I just had to act as a cow and say "I said a MOO, a MOO, a MOO MOO MOO((: Heehee... then we had wash up and dinner... Next wuz the fireside... Hmm... One of the bishops gave a talk... Actually it was more like a physic lesson but it was really fun(: And in the middle of the fireside he gave all of us this little torch... It's really cool kays(: Amanda was like so happy that she got the torch... Diao...Haha...
Day 2.
We printed our T-shirt(: I like mine though it's ugly((: Heehee... Amanda Low's one is NICE! I'm so jealous... haha... just kiddin'(: I think Rachel's and Su Min's ones are really nice too((: Then we had the battle of the LDS star game(: We won the beach volleyball (Thanks to Onson [: ) and got second for the soccer, captain's ball and water polo... Nevermind cos we still won the championships!!! :D Then there was project runway game... Hmm... Onson looked more like Dumbledore but he still won(: Haha... ANd that was supposed to be the casual wear competition... So it was really funny and... yea(: Next was the talent show... Everything came in as planned... Ok... We didn't win that segment but I did enjoy the whole thing as an overall X))
In the evening... After dinner was the treasure hunt... Erm... I gotta say that the stuff were really easy to find but the raft wasn't really easy to make... Haha...♣
Day 3.
We went rafting using the raft we made last nite... Was really fun but tiring... Tyler and Rachel was like shouting "1!2!3!1!2!3!" And everyone was trying hard to follow... Titus was like sitting in front of me and slacking... but I didn
t bother anyway... After Rafting was Survivor... Hmm... I guess this is kinda like the hilighted game of the whole YC... It was really fun... But the 2 most interesting... or rather I should say FUNNY part was the watermelon thing and the pebble thing... At the water melon area... Shamnon took 1/2 of the water melon while we took the other 1/2... And Shamnon(with a lil' help from Onson) finished the watermelon faster than like the rest of us (which consisted of like more than 10 ppl!)And he even had to help the rest of us finish the watermelon... But he was the one who allowed us to advance to the pebble place much earlier! :D And tt was how we managed to come in 1st(: Heehee :))And when my team were slacking... The rest of the team were still looking for the pebbles((: Wakakaka ((: I'm EVIL X))
After that was the dance workshop... We learnt the hiphop, bollywood and hawaiian dance((: The hiphop was really DIFFICULT, the bollywood one was quite ok and the hawaiian one was pretty easy :D
Then after that was wash-up and dinner before the real dance... So... Amanda Low was supposed to look for me in my room then we go for the dance together but she and Amanda Xu had a tummyache so they went down together... Is this telepathy?!? Haha... So anyway... I went down to the beach for the dance and there were quite a few ppl there already... So I waited for the Amandas... So not very long after they came... It started raining and everyone ran up to the seminar room... ok... we had our "beach dance" there... LOL... ok... but thegood thing was that it was easier to dance therethan at the beach cos my feet kept sinking in the sand... Yea... So at the seminar room... I danced... Both fast and slow dance... And please don't come asking me who I danced with cos I'm not tellin'... And those who know... Please don't go round telling too:P Hmm... but anyway... I danced almost all the fast dances and 4 of the slow dances... Yepps... Ok... There's only one slow dance that I can mention here becos it was with Amanda Xu... Haha.. I know u guys probably will think it's funny... But amanda was like dragging me after dancing with ********* to dance with her cos she was feeling really embarassed... And she was pulling my shoulder really tight and talking rubbish... Haha... Then I was gonna ask ********** to take over and dance with Amanda but he freaked out... So nevermind... haiz...
So after the dance i was REALLY REALLY TIRED so I slept like almost immediately after bathing...
Day 4.
It was really sad cos that was the last day of YC... but anyway... we had the testimony meeting and prize giving ceremony... My team had nearly all the the team prizes! BLUE TEAM RULES!!! WOOHOO!!! Then testimony meeting... It's like almost everyone wanted to go up and give their testimony... Some times there were like even two ppl standing up at the same time! I heard that last year's testimony meeting was like so pathatic... But anyway... I oso gave my testimony... I stuttered a lil'... but I was ok(: Then we packed luggage and checked out... While having lunch... ppl were like passing round' the YC file so that ppl can sign so I passed mine around too((: Heehee...
Two Hours later... We reached Singapore... Then AMK ppl had to stay back for Talent Nite...
